Fame Academy told: 'Follow the rules'
Updated 06 October 2002, 14.34
The Fame Academy contestants have been told to toe the line
It's like being back at school for the Fame Academy students.

Scary 'head teacher' Richard Park has wasted no time in laying down the law.

He insisted rule breakers would not have an easy time of it over the next 10 weeks.

He even admitted he had a 'little black book' and that he'd be writing down the names of anyone who broke a rule!

"I want to keep a nice tight ship," he barked. "The more you can follow a set of codes, the better it will be."

Love tune

The teachers also revealed they'd chosen the two songs the group will be performing live on TV next Friday. They've picked Celebration by 70s band Kool and the Gang, and old classic, Lean On Me by Bill Withers.

And the 12 wannabes seemed to be paying attention. They all worked really hard in their first song writing lesson on Saturday.

Teacher Pam Sheyne made them get into groups and come up with a song title and chorus.

Ainslee did well in the song writing session
Everyone really got into their first task - Ainslee even came up with a love tune about a girl he'd met on a train.

Even Pam was impressed. "You're doing well, you're doing really well," she said.

Praise indeed from a Fame Academy teacher!
