Wills movie shows him 'drinking and partying'
Updated 30 September 2002, 14.03
Royal aides have said they're 'disappointed' with the film
A controversial film about Prince William has been shown in the States.

It shows the young prince getting drunk in a pub on his 16th birthday and raiding the wine cellar at Buckingham Palace with his mates from Eton College.

It also shows him chatting up a girl in a club after telling her he was actor Leonardo diCaprio, and moaning to his father that he can't get girls because of his bodyguards.

Prince William is really popular in the States
William, now 20, also argues with his father, Prince Charles, and the Queen, about the royal way of life.

His character is seen pleading with the Queen to do something about the Royal Family's bad public image, not long after his mother, Diana Princess of Wales, died.

In the movie, William's played by a young actor called Jordan Frieda - who's the son of singer Lulu and celeb hairdresser, John Frieda.

Prince Harry is also portrayed in the film.

He's shown to adore his older brother, who's seen introducing him to Britney Spears' music.

The Royals haven't commented on the film yet, but earlier this year Royal aides said they were "disappointed" at the "insensitivity" of the movie.
