Our own Idol Will Young was there to sing a duet with Kelly on stage.

America's been gripped this summer by their version of the find-a-star contest.

Kelly's prize is a record contract with a single due out in September and an album in November.

But as we've already seen, it's not necessary to win the show to make it big in pop, eh Gareth?
