  Osbournes set for second series
Updated 29 May 2002, 19.42
The Osbournes
Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has signed up for a second series of the hit show about his family.

The Osbournes was a massive hit when shown on MTV in America, and is already doing really well in the UK.

The second series will be 20 episodes long - 10 more than the first - and it's reported that the family will be paid millions of pounds to let MTV cameras back into their house.

Ozzy Osbourne's duaghter Kelly
The series is the latest success story in so-called 'reality tv' where TV cameras film what happens in people's everyday lives without scripts, a bit like Big Brother.

Ozzy, his wife Sharon and children Kelly and Jack are the stars of the show.

The show will eventually appear on terrestrial television, but not until one of Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5 have won the battle to broadcast The Osbournes.

Ozzy Osbourne was the lead singer in one of the most famous British heavy metal bands, Black Sabbath, before finding success as a solo metal singer.
