More Star Wars fans have begun queuing up to see Episode II in America - even though it isn't out for more than a month.

Fans have been waiting in Seattle since January, but now queues are springing up all over the US, with the latest in Los Angeles.

The queue in LA is outside a very famous cinema called Mann's Chinese Theater - where the first ever showing of Star Wars Episode IV happened in 1977.

Star Wars Episode II
Spiderman
Scooby Doo
Men in Black 2
Spy Kids 2
Harry Potter 2
Lord of the Rings 2
There are still six weeks to go until Attack of the Clones is shown for the first time, and the people aren't even 100% sure that it's going to be on at the cinema where they're queuing.

No one spends every minute of every day in the queue. But there are special rules to make sure the people who spend the most time queuing get the earliest and best tickets.

Local businesses let the fans use their toilets and showers. Others give them some free food or even DVDs to play on their laptop computers.

UK cinemas opening at midnight

In the UK the Odeon cinema chain has announced tickets will be on sale from 12 April, in advance of midnight showings of the movie.

Star Wars Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones is out in the UK on 16 May.
