Darius hopes to encourage young people to make the time to become blood donors.

He said: "We run around in our everyday lives and we don't really think about the significance of giving blood."

Giving blood is vital

In hospitals all across the country, 300 operations a day would not be able to take place without blood donations."

Thousands of fans went wild in Darius' home town Glasgow last night when he performed on stage in a kilt.

What next for Darius?

Fans are expecting him to make an announcement soon about a record deal.

He said: "You will just have to wait and see. Just watch this space."
