Pop princess Britney Spears has stood up for herself after critics slammed her first ever movie, Crossroads.
One said she was "blandly appealing at best".
But others were less nasty, saying: "This may come as a shock, but she's okay."
Britney hates what critics love
Britney fought back and said she hates the kind of movies critics like, preferring "light-hearted, girl-flick, love story movies".
That sounds remarkably like the plot to Crossroads.
The worst review of the movie so far came from the New York Post newspaper, who said it was "a movie so pathetically lame even her most ardent young fans will give this stinker a big thumbs down".
