  Harry Potter DVD gets UK release date

 Harry Potter's coming to your DVD players and videos!
The DVD and video of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will be released in the UK on 11 May.

That's more than two weeks before its US release. The date has been confirmed by Warner Brothers.

Maybe lucky UK fans are getting it ahead of the rest of the world because Harry is British.

Extra features

It will come in a two-disc collectors edition.

The first disc will have the film in either full screen or widescreen format.

And the second disc is thought to include extra features like a virtual tour of Hogwarts, profiles of the ghosts and interactive Quidditch lessons and games.

You can also see Hagrid and Harry on the London underground, and Neville as a victim of the leg-locker curse.

There'll be interviews with director Chris Columbus and footage from the second film The Chamber Of Secrets which isn't out till November.

The video will cost £16.99 and the DVD £22.99.
