Gareth 'unwell'

Meanwhile Gareth Gates was forced to abandon his publicity campaign after the pressures got to him.

He was said to be feeling "unwell" after all the interviews he and William Young have had to do in a bid to win the grand final on Saturday.

A show spokeswoman said: "We're hoping he will feel better by this afternoon."
