Gareth put on a brave face as he struggled with his stutter to get his answers heard. Zoe helped him relax, by getting him to look at her instead of the press pack when talking.

When asked how it felt being so popular with the public, he said, "I'm really thrilled at the support that I have been getting, but the show's not over yet".

Mr 'not so' Nasty

Darius was asked about how it felt to have 'Mr Nasty' Simon Cowell and Pete Waterman having a big row over him on last Saturday's show.

"I was taken aback," he said. "I didn't want them to start having a fight on air!"

He added that even after Simon's put-down of his performance he thinks Mr Cowell is a "real gentleman" who shook hands with him after the show. Not so nasty after all.

Posh Pop Idol fan

Will was taken aback by gossip that Victoria Beckham was a particular fan of his.

"I find it hard to believe that celebrities even watch Pop Idol," he said. "I'd have thought they'd be doing far more famous-type things!"

Zoe assured CBBC Newsround Online that if she wins she'll be keeping her feet firmly on the ground with the help of her family. She confessed to speaking to her mum on her mobile every half an hour!
