Film bosses hoping to cash in on the success of the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings movies, have turned to another favourite set of British books.
The Chronicles of Narnia, written by C.S. Lewis, are the latest series of children's favourites to be turned into big screen classics.

An American company called Walden Media has paid for the right to make the movies, and they will work with a member of the author's family to make sure they get things right.
But unlike Harry Potter, they might not be transferring all seven books to the cinemas.
Walden Media are thought to want to start the series with the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which is the most famous of all the seven books.
