The stars came out for the Harry Potter premiere and gave the Philosopher's Stone film top marks.
After seeing the film JK Rowling said: "It went wonderfully. I am so pleased, everyone seems to love it."
Most of the film's stars were there to see it for the first time, and many had grabbed the chance to take their children to a specially-decorated cinema.
Decorated like Hogwarts
The Odeon in Leicester Square, London was made to look just like Hogwarts with a massive banner for each of the four houses hanging from the front.

Music star Sting said: "My daughter and I have been reading them for years. I think they are wonderful literature."
Another famous face was the Duchess of York, who took her two daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
She said: "It is brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the girls loved it."
