The Potter family
The Potter family

Think of a good headline for this story:

A new Harry Potter has been born in south Wales.

But don't worry, this Harry's not JK Rowling's hero who fights against the dark magic of "He who cannot be named" - nor does he have a lightning-shaped scar yet.

This Welsh Harry's a muggle!

'Quite cool'

The baby boy's parents, Liz and Mark Potter, say they liked the name 'Harry' before Potter-mania started.

"Everybody thinks it's quite cool now really. All his cousins are pleased. And when he grows up, he's either going to love it or hate it."

Spelling

Harry's mum and dad haven't read the books yet, but say his cousin and grandfather are reading them now.

Just wait until the little Harry learns to spell!
