Greg Rusedski should be playing
Day 4: 24 June

The championships are running a day late, thanks to rain stopping play on Wednesday.

British number three Greg Rusedski played on Court One, and beat Davide Sanguinetti 7-5 4-6 6-2 6-2.

Number three Women's seed Venus Williams crashed out in a surprise defeat to rising Croatian star Karolina Sprem.

After a controversial point was awarded to Sprem in the second set, she took advantage to win 7-6 (7-5) 7-6 (8-6).

Number two seed Andy Roddick beat Yeu-Tzuoo Wang in straight sets on Centre Court, with the score closing at 6-3 7-5 6-4.

2001 champion Goran Ivanisevic beat Italy's Filippo Volandri, in five dramatic sets 4-6 7-6 1-6 6-3 6-4.

Australian Leyton Hewitt, the number seven seed beat Georgian I Labadze 6-4 6-4 6-1.

Top men's seed Roger Federer went through, easily winning his match 6-1 6-2 6-0.
