Rugby: Ireland and Wales both win
Updated 19 October 2003, 12.57
Ronan O'Gara kicked well for Ireland
Wales and Ireland both grabbed their second wins of the Rugby World Cup, beating Tonga and Namibia.

Wales looked like suffering an embarrasing defeat for a while in their match with Tonga, eventually winning 27-20 in Pool D.

Ireland found things much easier against Namibia in Pool A, racing to a comfortable 64-7 win in the rain.

For both teams their next games are crucial, with Wales facing Italy and Ireland playing Argentina.

A win in those games should see both sides through to the quarter finals, probably as runners up behind Australia and New Zealand.

For Wales 16 points from kicker Stephen Jones was the key, although tries from Gareth Cooper and substitute Martyn Williams were also crucial.

Ireland were more impressive, with Alan Quinlan and Eric Miller both scoring two tries for their country.
