Second row forward Martin Johnson will captain England in the Pool C match which kicks off on Sunday.
Most games in the group stages of the tournament should be quite easy wins for England.
Only South Africa - on 17 October - will be a serious test of the team's abilities, with Samoa and minnows Uruguay England's other opponents.
