  David Haye - England
Updated 24 July 2002, 12.44
David Haye
With Lennox Lewis the world champion and Audley Harrison the Olympic champion, the pressure is on David Haye to live up to his better-known countrymen.

He won the silver medal in the heavyweight class at the World Championships in 2001, and is the favourite to take the gold in Manchester.

Boxing at the Commonwealth Games and Olympics is amateur, meaning the boxers wear headgear and won't be taking on big names like Lennox and Audley until they turn professional.

Haye could probably do that now, but he's expected to wait until after the Olympics in 2004, when he could try to follow Audley Harrson's golden path.
