Skatepark

When most 11 year olds are watching Eastenders Rosie is down at the skatepark.

'I skate from 7.30 until 9 most evenings. I started when I went swimming at a pool next to the skatepark. I decided to have a go, so I went straight onto riding ramps.'

Favourite trick

'My favourite trick is to indy over the jump box, but anyone starting out should learn to ollie the board even if they want to ride ramps.'

Rosie skates with her older sister Lucy who is a sponsored rider and has won loads of comps.

She says that although skateboarding is mostly a male sport any girls who are interested in learning should just go for it.
