Just like Jess, the young Asian girl in the movie, Aman has had to juggle family weddings, birthdays and studying around her footy training.
However, unlike Jess, her family are far more supportive and Aman plays in goal.
Enjoyed the movie
Aman, who's now 18, joined Southampton Women's Football Club when she was 10, but more recently has been playing for Arsenal Ladies.
Speaking to The Metro newspaper, she said she enjoyed watching Bend It Like Beckham, and only had one tiny criticism of Jess' footballing skills.
She said Jess' run up to take a free kick had a slight "stutter" in it, and really it should be one fluid movement.
