  Dinosaur eggs found in Australia
Updated 21 June 2004, 17.28
Dinosaur eggs
Dinosaur eggs that could be more than 100 million years old have been found in Australia.

More than 1,300 fossils and dinosaur eggs that are believed to have come from China were found by police.

Chinese authorities have been searching for them for over a year, officials said.

The find included hundreds of dinosaur eggs, nests and skulls, and fossilised fish, which are believed to be worth millions of dollars.

The search for the eggs started last year when the Chinese authorities wanted to try and stop the illegal trade in Chinese fossils.
