From 15 July no one will be able to access game servers from 10pm till 6am.
More and more internet cafes specialising in online gaming have sprung up in Thailand recently and they've become very cheap.
10-hour games
One game in particular which is worrying officials is the Korean role-playing game Ragnarok.
It has over 600,000 registered players in Thailand, many of them children.
It's not violent but there's no time limit and games can last 10 hours.
One young student said in a Thai newspaper said:
"Ragnarok has become a drug and all of my friends are addicted to it. Nobody plays soccer with me now."
So the country's technology minister said they shouldn't play it for long stretches.
