And most kids find spam upsetting and it makes them feel uncomfortable.
Spam are e-mails which companies send out to people even though they haven't asked for them.

Unfortunately most of them are aimed at adults and contain images that aren't meant for kids.
Around eight out of 10 kids interviewed for the study said they got upsetting spam e-mails every single day.
Confused
Most of them opened and read the spam, without their parents knowing, and most didn't tell anyone when they were upset by the contents.
But the research also showed some children are confused about spam as lots of them weren't sure if it was good or bad for them.
Spam e-mails are getting more common all the time. They now make up half of all e-mails sent around the world.
