  World's first non-melting ice lolly
Updated 26 March 2003, 16.08
The lolly
Good golly - it's the world's first non-melting ice lolly!

The special sweet is going on sale just in time for the summer.

It doesn't drip all over your hands or melt in the sun before you've had a chance to scoff it.

The lolly actually turns into a fruity jelly when it starts to melt, so it stays put on the stick.

The recipe is being a kept a secret
The Strawberry Jelly Lollies will be sold in Iceland from 30 March.

But the special ingredients needed to make the non-drip lolly are being kept a closely-guarded secret by the Iceland team.
