The sharp rise in sales probably has a lot to do with the price war going on between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo who are all desperate to sell loads of consoles.
Sony are still hoping that more people will want to buy the console.
And to try and convince the few remaining gamers that don't already have one, they have brought a new white version of the machine.
