It comes after hundreds of you asked for a Simpsons board, and on the same day that we can confirm that new Simpsons episodes will be made until at least 2006.

We hope you'll enjoy it for years - and that you'll use it to meet loads of other Simpsons fans.

Fast-mod

Another cool improvement is a new style of moderation so that your messages can go up almost live.

Every Saturday between 4pm and 5pm UK time, the Sound Off board will go into something we're calling 'fast-mod'.

One moderator will be devoted to posting up your messages as soon as they get posted - which should make it almost as fast as a chat room!

Other changes

We're also changing the Environment board so it's now all about 'Global and environmental issues'.

We wanted a place where you could talk about some of the serious problems facing the world, such as child labour, global warming, fair trade, human rights and famine.

And - after several weeks of you asking - the Fame Academy board is dying a death. If you want to talk about David Sneddon or other students, why not go to the Pop Music board?

We're also getting rid of Sport and Space, because they just weren't popular enough.

But if there are other topics you'd like a board for - well, we hope to have a new system for introducing new topics soon.
