Lance Bass back at space school
Updated 24 September 2002, 18.03
Lance Bass (left) with crew Sergei Zalyotin and Frank Dewine
Lance Bass might not be going into space just yet but he's back in training anyway.

The 'N Sync singer had hoped to become the third space tourist in October but it all went wrong.

He had to stop training because he didn't come up with the $20m (12.8m ) he was meant to.

Still hoping

Fact File
Space tourists
US businessman Dennis Tito was the first ever space tourist
The second non-astronaut was South African Mark Shuttleworth

But officials have now said he can carry on and he's gone back to the Star City facility near Moscow in Russia.

Lance wants to finish his training so one day he can still fulfil his dream and go into space, but he definitely won't go in October.

He'd been hoping to join the crew of the next mission to the International Space Station.

A cargo container with extra equipment will go in place of Bass.
