  Kids offered chance to become inventors

Kids across the country are being invited to become inventors as part of a national competition.

The Bright Ideas competition is searching for the best new invention that could make everyday life easier.

So, if you think you can come up with as many clever gadgets as Q from James Bond then read on.

Invent something!

The winners from each age group (7-10 and 11-14 years) will get a top prize of £500 to spend on cool gadgets at the London Science Museum.

Also, the winning models will go on display at the Museum.

Click on the web link on the right to download the Bright Ideas entry form. Oyou can pick up a form at a Sainsbury's store from August 21.
