Shaun plays in the school football team and has previously built model cars with engines.

Here are their paper plane top tips.

Designing a good plane

  • Make it as aerodynamic as possible.
  • Make a point at the tip of the nose so it slices through the air.
  • Try to add some weight to the nose.

Building the plane

  • Don't rush it.
  • Using exact measurements is really important.
  • Fold the plane firmly but very carefully

Throwing the plane
  • Throw the plane at a 45 degree angle for maximum height and distance
  • Throw it slowly but firmly
  • Don't just pile the pressure on, take your time if the plane is any good it will glide.
