Roy Blair from Castle High School flew his plane 30.75 metres.
Schools from across Northern Ireland had been battling to set new records in the Flight Experience competition at Belfast's Odyssey arena.
Anyone who broke the world record stood to get a special one-off prize of £5,000.
But the paper plane world record stayed unbroken at 59 metres - that's as long as a jumbo jet!
