  Meet Beckham the robot
Updated 09 November 2001, 20.12
Becks gets his footy knowledge 'sucked' out of his brain
A TV ad for the new David Beckham computer game will be shown during the England-Sweden match on Saturday.

David Beckham Soccer features the England captain as a robotic version of himself.

Becks all plugged up
It's predicted to be one of the big Christmas hits when it goes on sale on 23 November.

Thought transplant

The ad starts with Beckham having all his football knowledge "sucked" out of his head and transferred to his cyber image.

He scores one of his trademark free-kick goals and the message: "Train him, play like him, be him" pops up.

Becks says the game and his own style of play are so similar it's hard to tell the difference.
