/10 Hi. I'm Paul Thomas. I'm an aid worker for Save the Children. Here I am at a refugee camp in Sudan. These are some of the things I see every day.
/10 A woman looks at the burnt remains of a village. Attacks like these force people to seek safety in refugee camps.
/10 This is what people live in when they first arrive at camp. It is made from a thorn bush and anything else that can be found. Save the Children are sending out plastic sheeting to help make better shelters.
/10 There are over a million people living in refugee camps like this one.
/10 Aid workers like me helped build this temporary school at a refugee camp. Here children can play and learn safely in the tents and huts.
/10 A load of food, medicine and essential equipment is put on a plane headed for Sudan. Tough vehicles are essential for crossing desert land to get to remote places.
/10 Refugees in this camp are collecting their food rations. This is the job of the women and children.
/10 This is a baby bath arriving at a camp with other essential supplies, including cups, bowls and cooking pots.
/10 The rainy season has begun and the land is flooded, making it more difficult to reach people in need. With the rain comes poor sanitation. This means more people are likely to suffer from serious diseases such as cholera and malaria.
/10 Aid workers like me helped install this water pump. Without clean water people get diarrhoea, which young children can die from.
