Shrek the sheep is finally shorn
1/7 Shrek, the nine-year-old monster of a sheep, poses for cameras moments before getting his fleece shorn for the first time in six years!
2/7 It's a huge event as his 27kg woollen coat is shorn by former world blade shearing champion Peter Casserly, in front of a packed crowd
3/7 With his undercarriage and the top of his head trimmed, he starts to resemble an oversized pom-pom!
4/7 Just look at the sheer size of the fleece! Big enough to make over 20 large suits apparently
5/7 All off and a dramatically different looking Shrek lies on a bed of his own wool
6/7 Looking a bit wobbly on his feet after suddenly becoming 27kg lighter...
7/7 And not to mention cold! Luckily he's been given a coat to keep him warm - but he doesn't look too happy about it, poor thing!
