1/4 First World War veterans hold wreaths during a service held at the Cenotaph in London to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the start of the war.
2/4 Henry Allingham lays a wreath at the service. The 108-year-old, the oldest of the war veterans, served with the Royal Naval Air Service during the war.
3/4 103-year-old William Stone from Oxfordshire, proudly displays his comemorative medal.
4/4 And 106-year-old Fred Lloyd, from Sussex, shows off some of the medals he collected. Only 23 British veterans of the war are still alive today.
