75 Years of Mickey Mouse
1/8 Mickey Mouse was first seen in 1928 in a film called Steamboat Willie. His voice was done by his creator, Walt Disney.
2/8 Girlfriend Minnie Mouse has also appeared by Mickey's side for 75 years.
3/8 Although Walt Disney died in 1966, Mickey is still the most famous character he created.
4/8 Mickey and Minnie as we know them today - at one of the four theme parks dedicated to Disney.
5/8 When you visit Disney's theme parks, Mickey is the 'official greeter' to welcome you.
6/8 Mickey's look changed in 1953 when he settled for yellow shoes, red trousers and those famous white gloves.
7/8 Mickey's most famous film is Fantasia where he plays a sorceror's apprentice and all his spells go wrong.
8/8 Mickey's next film is called Twice Upon a Christmas where he will appear in 3D instead of his usual 2D form. It will be released next year.
