Thousands of kids in walking bus world record bid

Kids taking part in the walking bus record attempt in Plymouth

More than 100,000 kids around the UK have marched to school, all at the same time - to try and break the record for the world's biggest walking bus!

There's a serious message to the bid - to get drivers to slow down and to highlight how important it is for children to walk to school.

The record attempt took place at 10am on Wednesday morning.

The event is organised every year by the road safety charity Brake, as part of their Kids Say Slow Down campaign.
