Rampaging elephant in Mysore

Two wild elephants have gone on a rampage in an Indian city, killing at least one person and injuring others.

Schools and colleges were shut in Mysore on Wednesday while the animals ran through the city causing trouble for three hours.

Rangers and zoo officials had to tranquilise the massive animals so that they could be caught before they did further damage.

The elephants will be released back into the forest where they came from.

Two other young elephants are still on the loose on the edge of the city in Karnataka state.
