Another day, another story about Cheryl Cole but this time it looks like the rumours about her returning to the US X Factor are wrong.
American TV bosses have spoken for the first time and say they don't want Cheryl in the judging panel.
She's being replaced by former Pussycat Dolls' singer Nicole Scherzinger
There's been no reason given for Cheryl's axing from the show, but it's thought US audiences couldn't understand her accent.
On Monday Simon Cowell had said he wanted Cheryl Cole back - sparking stories that she was set for a return to the show, which is launching in America for the first time.
But TV bosses put the record straight in statement: "Nicole will join Simon Cowell, LA Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5m recording deal.
"Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. !
The show will be hosted by Welsh presenter Steve Jones, who hosted 101 Ways To Leave A Gameshow.
