Birds in Guatemala in Central America

These snaps are from the Travel Photographer of the Year competition. 13-year-old Chase Guttman won for the 14 and unders.

14-year-old Sam took this snap of a colourful agama lizard in Tanzania in Africa.

A serval cat in Tanzania in Africa

Sam was a runner-up in the competition. In Tanzania he also snapped this serval cat. It was a good find as they are not easy to see.


This elephant was in the Serengeti National Park, a famous wildlife reserve in Africa.

Lion in South Africa

The photos the adults took were just as amazing - Marsel snapped this lion roaring in the Kalahari desert in South Africa.

Enal playing with a small shark

Enal from Indonesia in Asia is playing with a shark that lives beneath his stilted house!

A stingray

These winning snaps, including this stingray, are on display at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London. And the next competition is already underway.
