Prince William and Kate Middleton say they've been "incredibly moved" by the public response to their engagement.

In their official wedding programme, they say they are deeply touched by the affection shown by so many people.

"We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives," they said.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness."

Royal fans have been camping outside London's Westminster Abbey for days to get a glimpse of the happy couple on their wedding day.

More details of Friday's ceremony have also been revealed in their official wedding programme.

It is said to be the depiction of Britishness and will see Kate vow to "love, comfort, honour and keep" Prince William.

Kate's brother James will give a reading, before joining their sister Pippa, their parents, Prince Harry and the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall to sign the marriage registers.
