Manchester City beat Blackburn in first away win of 2011

Manchester City beat Blackburn 1-0 at Ewood Park on Monday night - their first away win in the Premier League since Boxing Day.

The winning goal was scored by Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. It's his first Premier League goal and came 15 minutes before the final whistle.

The result moves City four points clear of Tottenham in the table, and keeps them in the running for the last place in the Champions League.

But Blackburn seem stuck at the other end of the table. Losing to Man City is their tenth game without a win and leaves them just one point away from the relegation zone.
