Cat survives after getting arrow in its head

Cat that survived after getting an arrow in its head

A cat has miraculously survived after getting an arrow in its head.

Max the moggy had been gone all weekend from his home in California, USA - until he turned up on Sunday night with an arrow sticking out of its head.

The three-year-old cat was rushed to the vet and the arrow was removed. "He's doing really well," said Max's owner Nancy Paquin.

Animal officers have been searching the area for clues on who fired the arrow, but haven't found any suspects yet.

Black and white cat Max has been left with a hole in his ear, but no other long-term damage.
