Grandfather crosses the Atlantic Ocean - on a raft!

The raft Anthony Smith used to sail the Atlantic

A grandfather has crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a raft made of pipes, after 66 days at sea.

Anthony Smith wanted to do the 4,500km trip to make people aware that a billion people worldwide live without clean water.

He and his three-man crew set sail from the Canary Islands and reached the Caribbean on Wednesday.

Anthony, 85, used to be a TV presenter for the BBC, and he hopes he's raised £50,000 for the charity WaterAid.
