Meet the Russian army's newest recruits - the Barking Brigade! These four-legged friends are helping soldiers to sniff out danger.
But they don't just rely on their noses! These guys have a whole load of gadgets to help them out, like this walkie talkie.
The device is attached to each dog's collar which allows the dog's handler to give him orders from a safe distance.
The dogs sniff out dangerous devices and then a soldier will shout a command over the radio for the pooch to come back; the army can then make it safe.
The Russian army has around 70 high tech dogs and it takes over a year to teach each one to go walkies with a walkie talkie!
It isn't just mobile phones that the dogs are being kitted out with. They have also been fitted with pooch periscopes...
Each periscope is linked up with a video camera which the soldier can watch on the tiny screen so they can watch for trouble at a distance.
The Russian army reckon that using dogs is the best way to find dangerous material as they can sniff out things that people or machines might miss.
