Abused elephant gets new home

Four-year-old Gabriel Ryan takes part in a protest outside Bobby Roberts Circus on Knutsford Common

A circus elephant who was secretly filmed being abused by her groom has been taken to live at a safari park.

The 57-year-old Asian elephant, who's called Anne, was filmed being kicked by an employee of Bobby Roberts Super Circus.

The animal protection group who did the filming made sure Anne had a safe journey to Longleat Safari in Wiltshire on Sunday.

She'll be kept under a 24-hour watch by three keepers there.
