Waves caused by a huge tsunami that has hit the north east of Japan have been captured as they move across the coast.

The waves have destroyed many buildings in the region - moving cars, boats and people's homes.

In one area, an oil refinery has caught fire sending lots of flake smoke into the sky.

The tsunami was caused by the biggest earthquake ever in the country.
