Spurs kick AC Milan out of the Champions League

Tottenham are through to the quarter finals of the Champions League after booting AC Milan out of the competition.

This shot by Rafael van der Vaart didn't end in a goal, and the final score at Wednesday's second leg match was 0-0. But it didn't matter.

Spurs won the first leg, 1-0, which was enough to get them into the last eight.

The Italian team put up a good fight, but some great defending from Spurs, including this incredible save by goalie Heurelho Gomes, kept them safe.

It's Spurs' first time in the competition. The result also means manager Harry Redknapp is the first English manager to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
