Top athletes join London 2012 mascots in animation

Recognise these guys? It's Wenlock and Mandeville the official mascots for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Since their launch in 2010, they've been on a journey around the UK, encouraging children to take up sport. Now they've got a new animated adventure to get you involved.

Adventures On A Rainbow has been written by top author Michael Morpurgo and includes animations of some of Britain's biggest 2012 hopefuls, like BMX cyclist Shanaze Reade.

Ellie said she was thrilled to become a cartoon character: "I really think it is amazing. I love it. It's cool and it's got nice eyelashes."
