Forest sale plans to be scrapped

Woodland in England

Government plans to sell large areas of England's woodland look set to be scrapped.

Loads of people protested and signed a petition against the idea when it was put forward at the end of last year.

They were worried that if the forests were sold it would make it harder for the public to use them, and it would be bad for the wildlife living there.

Prime Minister David Cameron says he's listened to the protests and will rethink the plans.
