Album: Brit Awards 2011

The cover of the Brit Awards 2011 album

Release date

It's out now!

The style

The Brit Awards have been honouring the best bands, groups and singers for the past 30 years, and this album is packed with hits from this year's nominees.

Not only that, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the BRIT school, there's a bonus CD dedicated to its famous former pupils. You might recognise the likes of Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse, Adele and Aggro Santos, but there are also some newer names, such as Joe Worricker and Floetry.

The hits

With the Brit Awards celebrating the best in the music business, it's no surprise this album includes A LOT of hits.

Among our favourites are Olly Murs' Please Don't Let Me Go, Tinie Tempah's Pass Out, Eliza Doolittle's Pack Up, JLS' The Club Is Alive and Cee Lo Green's Forget You. Not forgetting the classic Brits duet between Florence and the Machine and Dizzee Rascal.

There are also top tracks from the likes of Cheryl Cole, The Black Eyed Peas, Bruno Mars, Alexandra Burke and Lady Gaga.

The misses

Just because there's so many different groups and singers across the three CDs, you probably won't like every song.

We could definitely have done without hearing Katie Melua's Closest Thing To Crazy, but there are no real howlers, and the hits definitely outnumber the misses.

Will it make the charts?

With so many songs and artists to choose from we reckon it's a sure thing for the top 10 at least!
