There was one man everyone was talking about before the match. The Premier League's most expensive player - Fernando Torres, lined up against his ex Liverpool team mates.
But his old mates didn't go easy on Torres in his first game for the blues. Jamie Carragher made sure he had a tough time.
And it stayed tough for the star man - he looked very frustrated as he struggled to get the ball and was substituted off in the second half.
But a few minutes after Torres took his place on the Chelsea bench - Liverpool scored!! Raul Meireles leaped to tap in at the far post and send the red's fans wild!
Chelsea needed to equalise to stay in the title race and brought on their other big signing David Luiz.
But it wasn't enough - and boss Kenny Dalglish and his Liverpool team went crazy at the final whistle. It's 'King Kenny's' fourth win in a row as manager.
